Auto Electrician – Huddersfield | £40,000 - £45,000 | Monday to Friday
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (Depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Auto Electrician looking for a stable, Monday to Friday role with a leading bus operator? Join our engineering team in Huddersfield and play a key role in keeping our fleet running safely, efficiently, and reliably.

We’re looking for a skilled Auto Electrician to carry out electrical diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on a modern fleet of buses. If you’re committed to high standards and enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on buses and coaches
Working with CAN-bus systems, multiplex wiring, and electronic components
Carrying out routine maintenance, modifications, and upgrades
Supporting the wider engineering team with fault-finding and repairs
Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA and company safety standards

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Auto Electrician (bus, HGV, or PSV experience preferred)
Relevant electrical or automotive qualifications (Level 3 or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and wiring diagrams
Ability to work independently and within a team
A full UK driving licence (PCV licence is advantageous, but not essential)
