Auto Electrician - Droitwich
Pay: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour | Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Join a leading manufacturer of specialist recovery vehicles in Droitwich. You'll be responsible for installing, testing and fault-finding electrical systems on new recovery vehicles, as well as building wiring looms, junction boxes and other electrical components. You'll also support hydraulic and mechanical fitting when required.

Key Responsibilities

Install and wire electrical systems on new recovery vehicles.
Carry out electrical fitting, testing, commissioning, and fault finding.
Build and assemble wiring looms, junction boxes, and ancillary electrical equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on used vehicles.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
Support hydraulic and mechanical fitting activities where required.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality, and safety at all times.
Work closely with the assembly team to meet production deadlines.
The successful candidate will have a background in automotive electrical work, with experience working on commercial vehicles, trucks, construction plant machinery, truck bodywork, or forklift trucks. Ideally, you will have at least 3 years experience in automotive electrics and possess strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. You should be highly organised, self-motivated, and confident in your workmanship, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a busy production team. A flexible approach and commitment to producing high-quality work are essential.
