AutoCAD Technician (Utilities)

Our client, a leading multi-utilities company, is seeking a proficient AutoCAD technician to join their team. This role is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-regarded design team, producing high-quality AutoCAD drawings for utility mains and services. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external authorities, ensuring accurate records and documentation are maintained and delivered on time. Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and comprehensive detailed drawings for the design team.
• Create accurate "as-laid" drawings of installed mains and services.
• Maintain and update drawing logs and electronic filing systems.
• Ensure stakeholders and authorities are informed with up-to-date records.
• Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.
• Conduct site visits as required
  
  

Skills and experience required:

• Experience with AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong team collaboration skills
• Construction or Utilities background
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for teamwork and alignment with company values.
• Driving License preferred
