Are you an Automation / Controls Engineer or similar looking to become a technical expert within a worldwide leader, offering a competitive salary, opportunities for overseas travel, early finish Fridays and opportunities for further progression?

This growing company specialise in the design, build and installation of bespoke factory automation systems, control systems and more. Established in 2002, boasting a turnover of over £25 million and rapid team growth, this business is now looking for a new mechanical design engineer to be the go to person for their newest contract.

This role will see you as the go to expert for all things controls, such as, on site installation, client liaison, servicing and fault finding and training and mentorship of junior engineers. This role will also require you to have knowledge in Industrial Control Systems, PLC Programming and Industrial Networks. Within this role there is 50% travel from site to customer sites around the UK, Ireland, Canada and USA. Company car provided.

This role would suit an Automation / Controls engineer or similar, looking to join a forward-thinking business, which offers the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, progress their skillset and play a pivotal part in the product development.

THE ROLE:
* PLC Programming (Allen Bradley/ Siemens)
* Installation
* Servicing an fault finding
* Mentorship and client liaison
* Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-2pm

THE PERSON:
* PLC experience
* Automation/ Controls experience
* Willing to travel
* Commutable to Cheltenham
