Job Title: Automation Testing Engineer

Location : London/Ipswich

Work Mode : Hybrid

Mandatory Skills : Python, Robot Framework

Responsibilities:

-Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Cucumber

-Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure high-quality software releases

-Identify, report, and troubleshoot software defects throughout the testing process

-Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and create test cases that cover all aspects of software functionality

-Design and implement automation testing strategies to improve test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness

-Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in the field of automation testing and incorporate them into the testing processes

-Participate in code reviews to ensure testing best practices are followed and contribute to improving overall code quality

-Communicate test results and provide recommendations for improving software performance and usability

Qualifications:

-Strong proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, and JMeter

-Experience in testing web-based applications, mobile applications, and APIs

-Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript

-Ability to write complex SQL queries to perform database validations

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

-Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies

-Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus
