Automotive Service Administrator / Receptionist

Location: Sevenoaks, Kent

Job Type: Permanent, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

Salary: £27,000-£34,000 per annum DOE

We are recruiting for an experienced Automotive Service Administrator / Receptionist to join a well-established independent mechanical garage in Sevenoaks, Kent.

This is a varied role where you'll be the main point of contact for customers, coordinate workshop bookings and support the smooth running of daily operations.

Working alongside a team of 4-5 mechanics, you'll need to be organised, confident and comfortable juggling competing priorities.

Previous motor trade experience would be an advantage, but candidates from other fast-paced customer service or administrative backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Handle customer enquiries face-to-face, by telephone and email.
Manage workshop bookings, diaries and workloads for 4-5 mechanics.
Prepare job cards and maintain accurate workshop records.
Liaise with suppliers to order parts and obtain pricing.
Prepare quotations

Good telephone manner and customer service skills
Competent computer skills
Organizational skills of mechanics, paperwork and parts
Be able to work under pressure and multi task
Have excellent time keeping
