AV Commissioning Engineer / Technical Installation Engineer

Bedford / M1 Corridor (Field Based)

£40,000 - £42,000

As a Technical Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation of corporate AV systems and carrying out commissioning and testing of any installed equipment. This role is field-based, covering the Bedford / M1 Corridor area.

• Install corporate AV hardware, including control systems, projectors, screens, cabling, cameras, microphones, and speakers.
• Build data racks to a high standard of tidiness and quality.
• Configure audio DSPs, including Biamp, QSC, Dante, Cisco, and Poly.
• Commission and test installed systems.
• Provide product training and handover to clients upon completion.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

• Minimum of 1 year of AV installation experience.
• Ability to configure control systems and DSPs (Biamp, QSC, Dante, Cisco, Poly).
• Ability to pass security vetting / DBS checks.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• CTS certification.
• Manufacturer certifications with Biamp, QSC, or Dante.

• Salary: £40,000 - £42,000.

• Overtime rates paid at 1.5X.
