Overview
We're looking for an organised and customer-focused AV Manager to join a busy and fast-paced live events team, delivering high-quality corporate and private events across a prestigious hotel venue.
This is a varied, client-facing role where you'll take ownership of events from the initial enquiry through to successful delivery. Working closely with clients, the Sales team, Operations and on-site engineers, you'll manage every stage of the event lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in live events and audio visual production who enjoys managing multiple projects, building client relationships and leading successful event delivery.
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple corporate and private events, from client briefing through to on-site execution and post-event completion. Meet with clients to understand event requirements, prepare quotations, coordinate AV equipment, crew and logistics, and ensure every event is delivered to an exceptional standard. Oversee the technical delivery of events, coordinating engineers and freelance technicians whilst acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project. Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to maximise event opportunities, ensure rooms are event-ready and deliver a seamless customer experience. Manage on-site AV equipment, stock, event schedules and project costs whilst ensuring all equipment is prepared, maintained and available for upcoming events. Build strong client relationships, identify opportunities to upsell AV services where appropriate and support additional venues with equipment and event requirements when required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Full UK Driving Licence. Previous experience managing live corporate or private events within the AV or live events industry. Strong understanding of professional audio visual equipment and live event production. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Confident liaising with clients, taking event briefs and producing quotations. Experience coordinating engineers, freelance crew and event logistics. Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify upselling opportunities. Ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver exceptional customer service.
