Senior UI Engineer – Core Platform

Location: London

Salary: Around £90,000-120,000 + Excellent Benefits + Bonus

We are working with a leading global financial services organisation who are undertaking a major transformation of its trading technology platform. As a Senior UI Engineer within the team, you will be key in building a next-generation interface that supports hundreds of customers globally.

This is a hands-on development role ideal for someone passionate about modern front-end architecture, performance optimisation, and building scalable user interfaces in a data-rich environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop robust, scalable UI components using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Build and maintain data-intensive interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver integrated, high-performance solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and adoption of emerging technologies.

What You’ll Bring

• Deep expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, etc).
• Proven experience building enterprise-level frontends with grid-based components
• Strong CSS/SASS skills with attention to detail in design implementation.
• Solid understanding of DevOps tooling including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Familiarity with OpenFin, FDC3, Electron, or micro-frontend architectures.
• An interest or background in financial services or trading platforms.
