Contract Role - Azure Data Migration Architect- London/Hybrid - 12 Months Initial - Inside IR35

Role Overview:

• Job Title: Azure Data Migration Architect
• Location: London/Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
• Contract Type: Contract
• Duration: 12 months initially, with high potential for extension
• Sector:Chemical & Petroleum
  
  

• Design & architect the target state Azure data platform, including data lakes, warehouses &integration services to replace existing SAP BW applications.
• Lead the technical migration strategy for moving accounting data workloads from SAP BW to Azure ensuring data integrity & minimal business disruption.
• Define data governance frameworks, security protocols & compliance standards for the new Azure environment while maintaining regulatory requirements for financial data. Collaborate with accounting teams & stakeholders to understand business requirements & translate them into scalable Azure data solutions using services & applications like SAP Datasphere and Power BI.
• Establish monitoring, performance optimisation & disaster recovery strategies for the Azure data hub to ensure enterprise-grad
• Nice to have skills: Chemical & Petroleum industry background
