This is an excellent opportunity for engineers looking for long-term stability, varied base maintenance work, and the chance to work within a growing Part 145 environment. We're looking for B1s who hold both Airbus A320 Family and Boeing 737NG type ratings and are passionate about delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality maintenance. The Opportunity As a Certifying B1 Engineer, you'll play a key role in the delivery of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, ensuring aircraft are maintained and released to service in line with regulatory and customer requirements. You'll supervise maintenance teams, provide technical leadership on the hangar floor, and work closely with planning, quality, and operations teams to ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Certify aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with your company authorisations. Supervise and support maintenance technicians during base maintenance inputs. Ensure all work is completed in line with approved maintenance data and regulatory requirements. Allocate tasks effectively and provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel. Complete and review maintenance documentation accurately and efficiently. Promote the highest standards of safety, compliance, and workmanship. Support quality audits and regulatory inspections when required. Ensure tooling and equipment are used and maintained correctly. Identify and report safety occurrences, hazards, and continuous improvement opportunities. Liaise with planning, CAMO, quality, and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Champion Human Factors principles and contribute to a positive safety culture. Essential Requirements UK CAA Part-66 B1 Licence Current Airbus A320 Family Type Rating Current Boeing 737NG Type Rating Recent certifying experience within a Part 145 environment Strong knowledge of Part 145, Part M, Part 66 and continuing airworthiness requirements Previous experience supervising maintenance teams during base maintenance activities Human Factors (HF), EWIS and SFAR88 training Strong documentation and communication skills What's on Offer?
