The Opportunity: We are urgently seeking an experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join an established rotary-wing aviation operation based in Kyle of Lochalsh, Scotland.
This is an exciting opportunity for a B1.3 UK CAA Part 66 Licensed Engineer with H145 type rating to join a highly experienced aviation environment, working across both line and base maintenance activities.

To be considered for this position, you must have: UK CAA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence H145 type rating - essential Demonstrable recent experience working on helicopters Evidence of recency and relevant maintenance experience Full eligibility and right to work in the UK
Key Responsibilities: As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient and high-quality maintenance support.
Your duties will include:
Carrying out line and base maintenance on rotary-wing aircraft Supporting maintenance activities at other locations and customer sites when required Completing all aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with approved procedures Ensuring the highest standards of aircraft safety, quality and documentation Analysing and interpreting aircraft technical information Accurately identifying, recording and resolving aircraft defects Debriefing operational crew to ensure defects are clearly understood and documented Maintaining aircraft, components, equipment and facilities to the required standard Managing local stocks of consumables and aircraft parts in accordance with company procedures Carrying out aircraft towing and ground movements Working collaboratively with other departments to support the smooth running of the operation

Significant helicopter maintenance experience H145 experience - essential Strong attention to detail Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability A professional and adaptable approach The ability to work effectively within a small team Strong written and verbal communication skills Good interpersonal skills when dealing with colleagues, customers and operational crew Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems High levels of integrity and professionalism A commitment to maintaining consistently high standards
