Our client is actively recruiting for multiple B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineers on a permanent basis in Oxfordshire, to support the maintenance and continued airworthiness of their Rotary fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out and certifying maintenance activities in accordance with UK CAA regulations, approved maintenance data, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters within the scope of B1.3 licence privileges. Carry out inspections, defect diagnosis, repairs, modifications, and component replacements. Troubleshoot and rectify airframe, engine, transmission, rotor, hydraulic, fuel, and mechanical system defects. Complete Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) in accordance with company authorisations. Ensure all maintenance documentation and technical records are accurately completed. Comply with Part-145 requirements, Safety Management System (SMS) procedures, and company policies. Support line maintenance, base maintenance, and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery activities as required. Supervise and provide technical guidance to mechanics, fitters, and apprentices.
Essential Requirements:
UK CAA Part-66 B1.3 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft). Type rating and certification experience on one or more of the following: H125 H130 H135 H145 H160 Experience within a Part-145 maintenance environment. Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. Excellent understanding of airworthiness and regulatory requirements.
Desirable:
Multiple Airbus Helicopters type ratings. Ground run authorisation. Rotor track and balance experience. Previous experience supporting EMS, offshore, utility, military, or commercial helicopter operations.
