Job Description - B2b commercial and product senior manager

About us Nexfibre is a £4.5 billion joint venture between Infravia Capital Partners, Liberty Global and Telefónica.

It has been formed to deliver ultra-fast full fibre broadband to up to 7 million homes across the UK! Together with our commercial partner Virgin Media O2, we will create the first national scale competitor to BT Openreach and will provide consumers and businesses across the UK with better innovation and choice.

We are: Open: Collaborative & Curious Fast: Driven & Pragmatic Simple: Authentic & Adaptable JOB PURPOSE In this role you will be responsible for a range of activities in B2 B commercial and product development including leading the commercial engagement with the VMO2 wholesale team and driving business with other direct and wholesale partners as well as owning the development of nexfibre’s B2 B product strategy and roadmap KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Delivering nexfibre’s commercial plan for B2 B revenues by optimizing our relationships with VMO2 and with other direct/wholesale customers Understanding the revenue and margin consequences of key decisions within the B2 B strategy and looking for opportunities to increase value for nexfibre and our partners Supporting the negotiation, extension and renewal of wholesale partnerships to leverage our B2 B product portfolio Setting and implementing nexfibre’s B2 B product vision and strategic roadmaps Continually assessing the competitive landscape, the needs of customers, stakeholders, and technical dependencies on our B2 B products and services and defining feature requirements and the desired user experience Establishing excellent collaborative relationships with colleagues in Digital, IT and Networks teams in nexfibre/VMO2 to drive the product roadmap to delivery, managing collaborators and regularly updating senior management on progress against landmarks Regularly sharing learning of the nexfibre B2 B product set with the wider team, gathering and acting on feedback Managing B2 B product capex and resource asks and ensuring these are factored into the annual budget We tend to look for people with: Degree level education / relevant professional qualifications Strong commercial acuity ideally gained in a telco B2 B commercial function Product knowledge/management for business connectivity products utilising full-fibre access networks Excellent communication skills together with the ability and credibility to form effective relationships across all levels Solutions orientated and able to simplify complex matters Self-sufficient, comfortable with working autonomously as well as in cross-functional teams Ability to multitask and to work calmly and quickly demonstrating high energy levels and work ethic
