BABY ROOM LEAD / SUPERVISOR

Zero2Five is looking for a passionate, nurturing and confident Baby Room Lead / Supervisor to join a welcoming early years setting in Hove.

THE ROLE

Hours: 33.5 hours per week
Working pattern: 4 days per week, with flexible working arrangements
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hove, East Sussex
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Leading the day-to-day running of the Baby Room, caring for children aged 3–18 months.
Supporting, motivating and guiding your team to deliver high-quality care.
Creating a warm, safe and stimulating environment where babies can explore and develop.
Planning fun, engaging activities in line with the EYFS.
Building strong relationships with children and their families.
Maintaining excellent safeguarding, health and safety standards.
Supporting children's individual needs, routines and developmental milestones.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
At least one year's experience in a Room Leader, Supervisor or senior early years role.
A genuine passion for working with babies.
Confidence in leading a team and maintaining high standards.
Good knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
A warm, caring and proactive approach.
Paediatric First Aid and previous Baby Room leadership experience would be an advantage.
