Back End Developer / Software Engineer (Rust Low Latency) Remote UK to £150k

Your role:

As a Back End Developer you'll join a small technology team, working with Rust on the core platform, building low latency and highly parallelised systems with a focus on the data layer. You'll be tackling complex problems and building highly scalable systems to accommodate large data and traffic volumes whilst maintaining extremely low latencies.

Location / WFH:

There's a remote first policy so you can work from home most of the time, with the caveat you'll join the team for three, one week meet-ups per year (global destinations, the last one was in Thailand).

About you:

• You have commercial Rust development experience on Linux
• You have experience of building low latency, parallel services
• You have experience of building highly scalable systems designed scale to large data and traffic volumes whilst maintaining extremely low latencies
• You have experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying services
• Ideally you will have a good understanding of blockchain fundamentals and mechanics of the EVM
• You have a strong record of academic achievement in Computer Science
• You're collaborative with experience of collaborating with remote, geographically dispersed colleagues
