We’re hiring a Back-End Developer with 3–5 years of experience to join a high-performing tech team working on innovative digital products. This is a hybrid role based in Central Manchester, offering the chance to work on greenfield projects that support large-scale, facing platforms for a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable back-end systems using .NET
• Develop REST APIs and work with Umbraco CMS
• Collaborate with internal teams and 3rd parties to deliver high-quality features
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of live services
• Work with modern cloud tech including Azure, Cosmos DB/MongoDB, and CI/CD pipelines

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years' experience in back-end development
• Strong knowledge of .NET (C#) is essential. Experience with Umbraco CMS is a nice-to-have, but not required—familiarity with any CMS is beneficial, and a willingness to learn is most important
• Experience with Azure, SQL Server, document databases
• Understanding of GDPR and handling user data securely
• Bonus: .NET Core, Azure Functions, API Gateways, TDD

This is a back-end focused role with plenty of scope to work on new features, shape architecture, and contribute to a high-traffic digital ecosystem.
