Spencer Rose are urgently seeking a Java Developer for a 6+ month contract working for a Tier-1 bank in Manchester, experience working with Google Cloud (GCP) is a must.

* Java (8/11/17+) with strong hands-on experience in enterprise application development.
* Microservices Architecture using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and distributed system design.
* Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture, messaging, and asynchronous processing.
* Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including deployment, monitoring, and cloud-native services.
* Containerisation & Orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
* CI/CD & DevOps using Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, and automated deployment pipelines.
* Database & Engineering Practices including SQL/NoSQL databases, automated testing, and Agile delivery.
* Stakeholder engagement and management
* Good communication skills
