Backup Miner / Excavator Operator

We are currently looking for an experienced Backup Miner with an Excavator Ticket to join an active tunnelling project.

Start Date: 5th October 2026
Duration: Until mid-January 2027
Project: Active Tunnelling / Shaft Works

Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Backup Miner / Miner
Strong background in active tunnelling and underground works
Valid Excavator Ticket
Experience operating an excavator within shaft or tunnelling environments
Experience with shaft sinking and pit bottom operations
Ideally experienced with jacked caissons
Experience working with or around sheet piling
Comfortable working in deep shafts of approximately 15m
Relevant tunnelling and site qualifications
