Stafforce are recruiting Bagging Operatives to support cargo handling and bagging operations within a fast-paced industrial environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are looking to build a long-term career within the ports and logistics sector.

Pay Rates

Bagging Operative (Days) - £13.80 per hour
Bagging Operative (Nights) - £15.80 per hour (£13.80 basic rate plus £2.00 night shift premium)
Monday to Friday
Night shift premium paid for hours worked between 18:00 and 06:00

The Role

As a Bagging Operative, your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient bagging of cargo products, ensuring operational targets and quality standards are met.

Duties may include:

Bagging and handling products safely and efficiently
Monitoring bagging operations and maintaining productivity levels
Loading and unloading materials
General warehouse and cargo handling duties
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Supporting operational teams during busy periods
Following all health and safety procedures
Working effectively as part of a team

What We're Looking For

Previous experience is beneficial but not essential as full training can be provided.

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

Bagging operations
Warehousing and logistics
Manufacturing or production environments
Manual handling roles
Port or cargo operations
Industrial cleaning and housekeeping
Physically demanding work environmentsA full UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
