Baker / Deli Assistant

• Bake a daily range of scones and tray bakes to a consistently high standard.
  


• Prepare fresh sandwiches, wraps and cold food items for daily service.
  


• Keep the kitchen and bakery areas clean, tidy and running smoothly.
  


• Follow all food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
  


• Support the wider cafe team as needed.
  

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen, café, bakery or similar environment.
  


• Proven baking skills and practical food preparation experience.
  


• A good understanding of food hygiene requirements.
  


• A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  


• Flexibility to work weekends and peak seasonal periods.
