Bakery Operative - Cake Production Location: Manchester Hours: Monday to Friday (flexibility required)

About the Company: Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors of desserts and speciality foods. Operating from their Manchester-based production site, they supply a wide range of fresh and frozen products to customers nationwide.

Role Overview: We are currently seeking a Bakery Operative to join the cake production team. This role involves the preparation and presentation of cakes, ensuring they are ready for dispatch to clients. Attention to detail is essential, as presentation standards are high.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and decorate cakes according to company standards

Ensure products are packaged and ready for delivery

Follow instructions from the Production Manager for additional tasks

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the production area

Work efficiently to meet daily production targets

Requirements:

Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable

Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Good eye for detail and commitment to quality

Willingness to be flexible with working hours, especially during busy periods

Full training will be provided

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00PM to 16:00AM 

Flexibility is required, as shifts may extend until production is complete
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
