Band 5 Occupational Therapist (Halifax & Leeds)
37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday | Up to £35,000
Our client, a well-respected and values-driven provider of adult residential and rehabilitation services, is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional who’s ready to make a real difference in the lives of adults living with mental health conditions.
Working across three warm and welcoming services in Halifax and Leeds, the successful candidate will bring compassion, creativity, and clinical expertise to support service users in achieving greater independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred, recovery-focused care. You’ll assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions tailored to the unique needs and goals of individuals living in residential and rehab settings. Every day, you’ll empower people to live more fulfilling lives—on their own terms.
What You’ll Need
A degree in Occupational Therapy
HCPC registration
At least 1 year of post-qualification experience
A UK driving licence and willingness to travel between services (mileage is paid)
A warm, person-centred approach and commitment to inclusive practice

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions in line with individual care plans
Work across three services, promoting consistency and continuity of care
Collaborate with residents, families, and other professionals to achieve therapeutic goals
Conduct assessments, produce reports, and contribute to risk management planning
Support service development and participate in clinical audits
Actively contribute to a culture of learning, inclusion, and respect
