Your new role

We are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join a leading public sector organisation in Belfast. Reporting to the Finance Business Manager, you will play a key role in delivering financial management, budgeting, forecasting and business support services across a diverse portfolio of stakeholders. Duties will include preparing management accounts, producing financial analysis and budget reports, supporting budget holders, assisting with annual budget setting, year-end accounts preparation, forecasting, variance analysis and providing financial advice to support informed decision-making. You will also work closely with senior managers to drive financial performance, improve reporting processes and support organisational objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role:

You will be a part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW, ICAS or ICAI foundation level completed) with at least two years' experience in an accounting or finance role
This should include a minimum of one year's experience within a financial management or management accounts environment, including budget monitoring, reporting and supporting budget holders.
You will have experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, strong analytical skills, and advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.What you'll get in return
