Job Description - Band 6 - General Radiography - Wrexham


Job Title: General Radiographer
Banding: Band 6
Location: Wrexham, Clwyd
Start: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Rate: £27 - £28 per hour
Working hours: Monday to Sunday, including long and short days


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Band 6 General Radiographer to join our client's team in Wrexham. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality imaging services. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care and contributing to the overall efficiency of our radiology department.


What will your responsibilities be:


The General Radiographer will be responsible for performing a wide range of radiographic examinations, ensuring the highest standards of imaging quality and safety. Duties include preparing and positioning patients, operating radiography equipment, and accurately recording imaging results. The role also involves maintaining equipment, adhering to health and safety protocols, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.


Qualifications and Experience:



  • Degree in Radiography or equivalent

  • HCPC registration

  • Extensive experience in general radiography

  • Strong knowledge of radiography safety and protocols

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to continuous professional development
