Rate: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join our client’s team at a private special educational needs (SEN) school in Aylesbury. The school provides education and care for up to 176 young people aged 11–19 with a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).

The school was rated Outstanding by Ofsted in September 2021 and proudly holds the National Autistic Society Advanced Accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessment, treatment and management of a wide range of language and communication difficulties


• Develop SLT care plans, based on best practice via a range of direct and/or indirect models of delivery within an educational setting, evaluating the impact the individual, considering the barriers to activity and participation within the educational setting


• Train education staff to incorporate specialist strategies and intervention . approaches into their practice and participate in monitoring the effectiveness of that training


• Communicate complex condition related information from assessment to clients, carers, families and members of the multi-disciplinary team

Qualifications and Experience:

• HCPC registration


• Experience working with children or adults with communication needs


• Car driver (desirable)
