Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

37.5 hours per week

**£3,000 welcome bonus**

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist with Band 6 (or above) experience to join their team within their specialist neurological rehabilitation service.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in providing occupational therapy services and possess excellent clinical reasoning skills. The role requires autonomy, the ability to manage and prioritise tasks, and leadership skills to motivate staff and achieve goals.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy

• Current and valid registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)

• Significant experience in a relevant setting

• Proven ability to use complex clinical reasoning

• Relevant post-graduate training in appropriate specialty

• Evidence of continued professional development

• Speciality in neurological rehabilitation would be desirable

Responsibilities

• Utilises evidence-based practice and outcome measures in providing therapy assessments and interventions

• Independently assesses and manages risk related to occupational performance

• Organises, coordinates, and responds efficiently to complex information

• Builds effective working relationships with patients and colleagues

• Demonstrates competent IT skills in the execution of job duties

• Stays updated with relevant legislation and its impact on current practice

• Motivates and leads staff to achieve departmental goals
