Job Opportunity: Banking & Finance Lawyer – Glasgow

Overview: We are recruiting for a Newly Qualified to 2 years PQE Banking & Finance solicitor to join a leading firm in Glasgow. This role offers the chance to work within a busy and diverse practice group.

Role Requirements:

Experience:

• Newly Qualified to 2 years PQE
• Experience in banking and finance during traineeship
• Interest in legal technology products (e.g., e-signing, transaction management platforms, document automation, AI contract analysis) is beneficial

Skills:

• Enthusiasm for proactive transaction and project management
• Excellent technical and drafting skills
• Ability to provide practical and commercial advice
• Effective team-working skills

Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on various transactional banking matters and cross-border financings
• Developing expertise in sectors such as finance, energy, technology, hospitality and food and drink
• Providing regulatory advice to financial institution clients
