The Opportunity The bank now has an opportunity for a lawyer to join the business on a fixed-term contract basis (contract length is flexible.) In this position, you will play a key role in drafting and managing retail banking documents for the business, primarily related to lending.

As part of a small legal team, you will work closely with senior management; you will also work closely with the wider business and advise on a range of day to day matters common in the running of a UK bank.

About You A lending background is key, with knowledge of banking consumer products and the regulatory framework around these being helpful, or any real estate investment experience.

A broad finance skill-set of any sectors will be considered; key will be a commercial approach and the ability and an interest in a varied role.

A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for working with people and building relationships is also key.

The role requires a commercial or financial services lawyer ideally with some lending experience who would like to step into a varied role, working closely with the business.
