Financial Services Litigation (Senior Associate – Legal Director), Bristol:

Vasto Legal Recruitment are working exclusively with a highly regarded law firm based in Bristol on an opportunity for a Senior Litigation Lawyer to join this reputable and growing Financial Services / Banking Litigation team. We are looking for a strong litigation background, some experience working with financial services clients/banks and a willingness to focus on this sector moving forward.

If you are a Lawyer with 5+ years post-qualified experience in a range of commercial / FS / Banking litigation then we would be interested in speaking with you and discussing the opportunity.

You will be 5+ PQE to be considered for Senior Associate and 8+ PQE for Legal Director title.

The Opportunity:

At present, this is a small and growing team that offers a Senior Lawyer a rare opportunity to work directly with established and highly-reputable Partners with backgrounds from top City firms.

This full-service law firm has a growing presence nationally, acting alongside and against leading international law firms nationwide in all practice areas. The firm offers an exceptional working environment – many Lawyers have flexible working arrangements and hybrid working is commonplace and highly flexible. As such, the firm continues to grow and attract Lawyers from leading law firms nationwide.

Requirements:

We require an individual with strong and high-quality litigation experience and any/some experience within the banking / financial services sector would be desired.

The growing team are open to considering those with specialist experience in this area and who would like to either continue with this specialism or are open to further expanding their offering using their translatable experience.

Aside from litigation experience in this sector, the character traits of any Lawyer joining the team are highly important. The team are looking for a motivated and commercially-minded individual – there is plenty of work coming through and opportunity in abundance to take over client relationships and support in further growing the team and offering. The team are looking for a Lawyer with the ambition to progress, with high-quality work experience, and someone interested in working closely with the Partners to support this ambition.

Salary -

£70k-£95k at Senior Associate & £100k-£125k at Legal Director (depending on level and experience) + excellent bonus + excellent benefits
