Banking Senior Associate

The Role:
As a Banking Senior Associate, you'll advise clients on intricate financing transactions including private equity deals, acquisition financings, asset-backed lending arrangements, leveraged buyouts, real estate financings, and structured products. You'll draft and negotiate critical documentation such as loan agreements and security packages while managing sophisticated transactions independently or collaboratively.

Additionally, you'll supervise junior lawyers and contribute to business development initiatives to grow the practice based in Birmingham further.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 5 years' PQE in banking and finance law at a reputable firm or in-house team.
• Expertise in private equity finance, acquisition finance, asset-backed lending structures, leveraged finance transactions, or structured finance instruments.
• Strong drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions and build lasting client relationships.
• Commercial acumen and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Experience mentoring junior lawyers is advantageous but not essential.
