Bar & Events Assistant

We are currently looking for passionate and dedicated Bar & Event Assistants to join our team at an exceptional venues; Bristol Museum & Art Gallery and M SHED. This is an exciting opportunity and would suit someone who enjoys customer service, working in fast paced environment, all at one of the best spots in Bristol where we host a variety of events from Candle light music concerts and banquets to Christmas parties!
Job Description:
- Previous experience in catering/retail/customer service - To ensure the highest level of customer care is adhered to at all times - To demonstrate a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations - To maximize all sales opportunities through selling techniques - To accept payment and give change to customers, including operating a till - To acquire a good knowledge of all products in order to be able to adviseindividual customers on their product choice - To actively gain customer feedback, passing information gained onto your line manager.
Both Full & Part time roles available. Training provided.
Ideal candidates must be:
- Nice, friendly and customer focused - Passionate - Enthusiastic - Like working as part of a team
Restaurant background beneficial.
Please note that shifts' pattern may vary from afternoon to late evening with the finish by 1.30am
