Job Title: Bar Manager

Location: West Swindon

Reports to: General Manager

Team Size: 6 Staff Members

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Manager to lead the operations of our busy, cocktail-focused bar in West Swindon. The ideal candidate will have previous bar management experience and be ready to hit the ground running, requiring minimal training on the specific venue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-volume bar with a cocktail-heavy menu

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 6 bar staff, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism

• Ensure smooth shift transitions, stock control, and compliance with licensing and health & safety regulations

• Maintain exceptional customer service and a welcoming atmosphere at all times

• Work closely with the General Manager on performance targets, promotions, and operational improvements

Schedule:

• Split shift pattern:

  • Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 2:15 PM

  • Weekends: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

• 5-day working week (typically includes both Saturday and Sunday, with two weekdays off)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a bar management role

• Strong knowledge of cocktails and drinks service

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
