Bars Manager

to join our growing team at Sunset Hospitality Group – UK.

About the role:
This is our first opening into the UK, we’re currently in our pre-opening phase preparing to open not one but three concepts in the heart of London’s Belgravia! The Bars Manager will join us for the pre-opening and be responsible for establishing the processes across the bar operations across all three concepts, recruiting, training and leading a team of bartenders across the building ensuring that the teams provide an exceptional experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities :
Ensure smooth and efficient running of the bar operations in each concept.
Cocktail and spirit list development in line with the different concepts.
Purchasing, stock management, pricing, cost control, bar inventory control
Ensure standards and execution of bar service are always followed across the building.
Have a thorough understanding of the alcohol licensing laws, their application on-site and to manage situations that compromise our license.
Work with General Manager and beverage leadership team on any staff issues or guest complaints that arise on-shift, always ensuring guests’ experiences exceed expectations, and communicate them to the rest of management.
To maintain the spirit warehouse and bar storage areas in a clean and presentable manner including overseeing the completion of cleaning checklists.
Ensuring the teams’ duties and checklists are completed daily.

Essential Skills & Requirements:
Previous experience in similar role and within fast paced environment experience in Michelin starred or premium restaurants.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills.
Strong planning and budgetary skills.
High coaching skills are a must in order to maintain the positive and supportive role with the Bar teams.
Excellent leadership skills and the ability to lead by example in a multicultural environment.
