Bar Staff

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused person to join the team at Market Tap in Pocklington on a part-time basis.

If you enjoy working with people, love a good atmosphere and don’t mind getting stuck in, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing

* Providing great service and making sure our customers have a brilliant time

* Welcoming customers and helping them choose something new to try

* Serving beers, drinks and food

* Keeping the bar and venue clean and tidy

* Clearing tables, collecting glasses and keeping things looking their best

* Helping the wider team to keep the venue running smoothly

* Creating a friendly atmosphere that makes customers want to come back

What we’re looking for

* A friendly, positive and approachable personality

* Excellent customer service skills

* Previous hospitality or bar experience is desirable, but not essential

* Someone who is reliable and happy working as part of a team

* A willingness to learn and get stuck in

* Knowledge or an interest in beer is a bonus!

We’re more interested in the person and their attitude than having a long list of previous experience. Full training will be provided
