We are currently looking for enthusiastic and professional Barback / Commis Waiter for our award winning Palm Court Restaurant.

The Langham, London is currently looking to recruit a Barback / Commis Waiter in our Palm Court lounge. The dazzling Palm Court is famed as the place where the tradition of afternoon tea was born over 150 years ago.

As a Barback / Commis Waiter in Palm Court, your main role will be to –

• as a strong Palm Court team member ensuring that the service is running smoothly
• ensure restaurant pantry and bar is set for service
• ensure that all cutlery, crockery, glassware and trays are spotless and clean before and during service
• prepare and locate all mise-en-place in strategic areas in the restaurant
• responsible for linen for the restaurant
• prepare and serve hot beverage as ordered 
• assist on the pass and serve food
• ensure that all cutlery, crockery, glassware and trays are spotless and clean before and during service

The ideal Barback / Commis Waiter in Palm Court will have –

• previous experience in a similar Restaurant or Hospitality environment

• excellent customer service skills; ability to anticipate guest needs and go the extra mile

• strong interest and passion for food & beverage
