Wadebridge | Immediate Start | 6pm-11pm | Flexible Hours | £13.00 to £14.00 per hour DOE

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a friendly, professional and customer-focused Bartender to join the hospitality team at located at Wadebridge.

The successful candidate will provide a high standard of bar service, prepare and serve beverages efficiently, and ensure guests receive a welcoming and enjoyable experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area.

Key Duties

Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to hotel standards.
Provide friendly, professional and efficient service to all guests.
Take orders accurately and process payments when required.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the bar and service areas.
Keep bar equipment, glassware and work areas clean and ready for service.
Monitor stock levels and report replenishment requirements to the supervisor.
Follow responsible alcohol service practices and all hotel procedures.
Respond to guest requests and queries in a professional and helpful manner.
Work closely with the restaurant and wider hotel team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Follow all health, safety, hygiene and licensing requirements.

Requirements

Previous bartending or bar-service experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Friendly, professional and confident approach.
Ability to remain organised and work efficiently in a busy environment.
Basic knowledge of beverage preparation and bar service.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Reliable, punctual and well-presented.Desirable Experience

Previous experience within a hotel, restaurant, pub or wider hospitality environment.
Experience using a till or POS system.
Knowledge of cocktails and beverage presentation.
