Speedboat Bar x Electric House… 

Nestled among the pastel-coloured houses of Notting Hill, Electric House is located on Portobello Road next to one of the city’s oldest cinemas. In partnership with Chef Luke Farrell, Speedboat Bar takes inspiration from the Thai-Chinese restaurants in Bangkok’s Chinatown and the thrilling sport of Speedboat racing along the canals (klongs) of Thailand.

The Role… 

We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our West London team at Speedboat Bar X Electric House (W11 2ED). As a Bartender with Soho House, your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact. Your main responsibilities are serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food (when needed) and providing excellent service to members, creating memorable experiences. Other duties include mixing cocktails, preparing the bar for service and ensuring it is in pristine condition

What we are looking for...

• 1-2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile bar.


• Experience and knowledge of classic cocktails.


• Team player who communicates well with all colleagues


• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy


• Sense of urgency


• Yes, yes, yes mentality


• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment


• Have a genuine passion for food and beverage


• Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required

* If you don't have previous cocktail experience but want to learn how to be a Bartender in the future, try applying to a 'Barback' position instead!

Mon – Weds – 8am – 1am

Thurs – Sat – 8am to 2am

Sunday – 8am – 12am

Sunday to Monday 12pm-11pm

Friday & Saturday 12pm- 1am
