BD Manager (Tech, Media, IP & Competition) - 12 month FTC

The Opportunity

You’ll be part of a close-knit team of BD professionals, supporting a highly collaborative group of leading IP, Technology & Media lawyers who work with some of the world’s most recognisable brands. In this strategic and hands-on role, you will:

• Support partners with targeting potential clients and strengthening existing relationships.
• Prepare impactful pitch documents and presentations.
• Drive internal and external events, webinars, and client initiatives.
• Stay ahead of industry developments and provide insights to enhance BD efforts.
• Lead legal directory and award submissions.
• Contribute to marketing campaigns and business planning activities.
• Maintain key BD systems, including CRM tools and credential databases.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a commercially minded individual with:

• Strong Business Development and/or Marketing experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• A deep understanding of how BD supports firm-wide strategy.
• Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and numerical.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset with a focus on efficiency and improvement.
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
