Job Description - BDM - Freight

My clients seeking an experienced BDM (FREIGHT) to join their successful team!

Daily duties would include:

Selling air, road, sea and courier services
Internal and external pricing
Cold calling
Client visits
Liaising with key accounts, sales and operations
Quoting customers and follow ups
Update customer tariffs
Rate negotiation
Identifying market trends, potential and customers needs
Lead marketing and the communication of the product offering across the business

Skills required:

Previous freight forwarding experience
Freight sales experience
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Strong negotiation skills
PC literate
Full UK driving license
