Before & After School Club Manager

• Annual Salary: £32,512 - £34,654 (pro-rata)
• Location: Surrey
• Job Type: Part-time (2:30pm – 6:15pm, Monday – Friday, term time only)

Reed Education are representing an oversubscribed three-form entry Infant school, as the Before & After School Club Manager. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the Club, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils, and leading a team to provide engaging activities. The successful candidate will be part of a nurturing and well-supported staff environment, with opportunities for professional development.

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities to support pupils’ development.
• Supervise and support a team of staff in the execution of activities and ensure adherence to school policies.
• Monitor and manage health and safety within the club, responding to incidents and maintaining records as per school procedures.
• Ensure all club policies are up-to-date and consistently implemented.
• Manage resources necessary for club activities, including maintenance and safety of equipment.
• Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and staff, maintaining high standards of professional conduct.

• Experience in managing educational or childcare programs.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in staff management.
• Proficient in planning and organising activities suitable for young children.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a school setting.
• Designated Safeguarding Lead qualification or willingness to train.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
