Before and After School / Wraparound Care Manager

Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking an experienced and dedicated Before and After School Care Manager to lead their wraparound care provision. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate childcare professional to make a positive impact by creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for children outside of the school day.

Your new role
As the Before & After School Care Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school's wraparound care provision, ensuring children are provided with a safe, engaging and inclusive environment before and after the school day.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and managing the wraparound care provision.
Supervising and supporting a team of staff.
Planning and delivering creative activities and play opportunities.
Managing bookings, attendance and administrative processes.
Building positive relationships with parents, staff and external agencies.
Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the provision.
Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, welfare and health and safety.Current working pattern:

Monday to Wednesday: 11:45am to 6:00pm
Thursday: 7:00am to 1:15pmWhat you'll need to succeed

A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork, Education, Early Years, or a related field.
Experience working with children in a school, childcare, early years or wraparound care setting.
Previous experience leading or supervising staff is desirable.
Strong organisational, communication and safeguarding knowledge.
