Contract: Full-time, Temporary, Ongoing
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday (Term Time Only)

The Supply Register is recruiting a Behaviour & Inclusion Mentor to work full-time at William Lovell Academy from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with young people who may be struggling with behaviour, engagement, confidence, attendance, or emotional wellbeing. You'll play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes both in and out of the classroom.

About the Role

As a School Behaviour & Inclusion Mentor, you will support pupils who require additional guidance to help them engage positively with school life.

Working closely with school staff, you will provide one-to-one and small-group mentoring, helping pupils develop resilience, improve behaviour, build confidence, and achieve their potential.

This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and making a genuine difference in their education.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver mentoring sessions to individuals and small groups
Support pupils with behaviour, engagement, attendance, and emotional wellbeing
Build positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff
Help create strategies to overcome barriers to learning
Monitor and record pupil progress
Promote positive behaviour and inclusion throughout the school
Work collaboratively with pastoral, safeguarding, and teaching teams
Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment

What We're Looking For

Experience working with young people in education, mentoring, youth work, sports coaching, pastoral support, behaviour support, or similar settings
Confidence building positive relationships with pupils
Strong behaviour-management and communication skills
A resilient, patient, and proactive approach
Good organisational and record-keeping skills
A genuine passion for supporting young people

Desirable

Previous experience working within a school environment
Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, behaviour, or additional needs
Relevant qualifications in education, youth work, mentoring, coaching, or childcare
