Behaviour & Learning Support Assistant – SEMH School (Bristol)
Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Long-Term Role £92–£105 per day | Immediate / September Starts
We are working with specialist SEMH schools across Bristol seeking Behaviour & Learning Support Assistants to join their teams.
This role involves supporting pupils who require additional help with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in education. You will play a key role in helping young people develop positive routines, build confidence and achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in behaviour, mental health, child development and specialist education.
The Role
Provide 1:1 and small group support Support pupils with SEMH needs and associated behaviours Help pupils engage with learning and daily routines Build positive, professional relationships with young people Support emotional regulation and behaviour strategies Work closely with teachers, behaviour leads and pastoral teams Promote a consistent and structured learning environment This is a hands-on role where your ability to remain calm, resilient and consistent will have a direct impact on pupils' progress and engagement.
