Pay Rate: £110 - £130 per day (PAYE)

Contract Type: Temporary with a genuine view to Permanent

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a progressive specialist Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) school in Blackpool this September.

Supporting pupils ranging from Key Stage 1 up to Key Stage 4, this role is vital in helping young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs overcome barriers, build self-esteem, and successfully re-engage with their education.

Providing 1-to-1 and small group mentoring tailored to the developmental stages of children and teenagers with SEMH needs.
Using positive behaviour management and effective de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe, calm, and nurturing environment.
Building trusting, professional relationships to guide pupils through emotional regulation and personal growth.
Collaborating with teaching staff, pastoral leads, and external agencies to track progress and implement behaviour support plans.What We Are Looking For:

Proven experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or working within a special school / AP setting.
High emotional resilience, patience, and exceptional de-escalation skills.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to process a new one via PAYE).Apply Now!
