Behaviour Support Staff - Secondary Schools - Bradford
Full-Time | Long-Term | Starting September | Veritas Education

Veritas Education are currently working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across the Bradford area who are seeking dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Staff to join their teams on a full-time, long-term basis from September.

As a Behaviour Support professional, you will play a key role in supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties (SEMH), helping them to positively engage with their learning and school environment.

The role includes:

• Supporting students in lessons and during unstructured times

• Working 1:1 or in small groups with students who require additional behavioural support

• Implementing behaviour management strategies in line with school policy

• Working closely with pastoral teams, SENCOs, and teaching staff

• Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage positive change

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with young people in a school or similar setting

• Remain calm and professional in challenging situations

• Have a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people

• Be proactive, reliable and resilient

• Be available full-time from September
