Behaviour Support Worker

Engage Education are looking for a caring and dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to work in an Ofsted rated Good school in Leeds (LS8).

This position is supporting a pupil with SEMH in year 4.

This role is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) which would become permanent after a 12 week probationary period. The school are looking for someone to start in September.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Working 1:1 or with a small group of children to support their teaching and learning.
• Be able to adapt to the needs of the child in lessons and assist them in their school day
• Promote positive behaviour.
• A dedication to the safeguarding of young people.

Requirements:

• A resilient attitude and range of behavior management techniques.
• To have worked with people with a range of needs (experience with young people with SEND desirable).
• A positive and caring nature.
• A dedication to enhancing young people’s learning.
• A commitment to working at the school for a consistent period of time
