We are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Worker to join a supportive secondary school in the Oldham area from September.
This rewarding role involves working closely with students who require additional behavioural, emotional and pastoral support, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
The school is looking for a confident, resilient and proactive individual who can build positive relationships with young people and contribute to a calm and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support. Support students both inside and outside the classroom. Implement behaviour and pastoral support plans. Promote positive behaviour and engagement with learning. Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and senior leaders. Assist with interventions designed to improve attendance, behaviour and wellbeing.
Requirements:
Previous experience in behaviour support, pastoral support, youth work, mentoring, teaching assistance or a similar role. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations. A genuine passion for supporting young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
