Hours: Monday-Thursday 7.15am-4.15pm & Fridays 7.15am-1.15pm

Breaks: x2 15 mins paid and 30 mins unpaid breaks

About the Role

Pickles Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to join their busy production team.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced workshop, manufacturing high-quality, bespoke furniture and components. We're looking for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner or Site Joiner who can hit the ground running and produce work to a high standard with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

* Manufacture bespoke components from technical drawings.

* Build and assemble kitchen canopies, bench seats, mantels, island end panels, and other bespoke joinery items.

* Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.

* Measure, cut, assemble and finish timber products to precise specifications.

* Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.

* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

* Work to production schedules and meet customer deadlines.

* Assist with other workshop duties as required.

Skills & Experience Required

* Previous experience as a Bench Hand Joiner, Cabinet Maker, Furniture Maker, or Site Joiner.

* Experience manufacturing bespoke kitchens, cabinetry or fitted furniture is highly desirable.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

* Competent using woodworking machinery and hand tools.

* Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality workmanship.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Reliable, punctual and able to work in a busy workshop environment.

* A positive attitude with the ability to hit the ground running.
