Qualifications

Essential:

Previous experience as a Bench Joiner
Strong practical joinery skills
Ability to work accurately and to a high standard
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Roles & Responsibilities

Carrying out bench joinery work to a high standard
Working from drawings and specifications
Measuring, cutting and assembling timber and other materials
Using a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely
Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within required timescales
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Checking completed work to ensure it meets the required quality standards
Working closely with colleagues to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
Following all company health and safety procedures
Undertaking any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company
Requirements

As a Bench Joiner, you will be expected to:

Have excellent attention to detail

Have good timekeeping and reliability
Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Follow instructions and specifications accurately
Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
